In Cannon Law, the Church designates two places as "Sacred"...
Places where the faithful worship
Places where the faithful are buried
We at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery continue to perform the corporal work of mercy, burying the bodies of the faithful, and caring for their final Catholic resting places with dignity, honor, and respect while making provisions for the future through adequate recordkeeping, proper perpetual care investments, and support of services to assist families with accurate information on legal and contractual matters related to cemetery sites, assignments, etc.We can also assist with third party services that may be beneficial to our families before and after the loss of a loved one.
For the final committal service, Mt. Olivet offers a beautiful, contemporary chapel free from inclement weather.
As a "Sacred" property and resting site of the faithful departed who await the resurrection of the body on the last day, we at Mt. Olivet feel it fitting that we care for this resting site in a manner that reflects its sacred nature, until the return of our Lord Jesus Christ.
